Media Release: Inspirational Pop Up Gallery Shop!

 

Exeter based, community arts and film company, Inspired Days are hosting their first Pop Up Gallery Shop at 29a-30 South Street, Exeter, EX1 1EB. The shop offers work from seven Devon based Artist.

 

Lead creative Mike Juggins explained how excited he was to be open after many weeks of long days and late nights getting everything sorted.  “As a group we wanted to make quality art work more available to a wider audience so when Exeter City Council gave us the go ahead we jumped at the chance to showcase our paintings and drawings in the city centre”.

 

Inspired days work with artists with various disabilities that all have a passion for making contemporary art combined with a belief that by focusing on ability… all things are possible.

 

Alongside Mike are two other experienced painters Geoff Powell and Gavin Blench, all of who have exhibited widely. Whilst, Tatiana Draper, Marcus Dill, Ilana Levy and Jess Juggins are showing work in the City for the first time.

 

Geoff Powell explained that it was a great opportunity and that a visit to the gallery shop makes for a interesting browse in what has been an unused shop for some time”

 

The artists offer a variety of styles and prices that provides visitors the chance to pick up that unique gift for Christmas. A percentage of all sales will be ploughed back into the work Inspired Days does with community groups.
